Deeper Meaning to Me: Sabze & Norooz
By: Caroline Sheikhzadeh, Co-Founder of Photography Club
This is called Sabze, in Farsi. It is one of the characteristic things you can find in the homes of Iranians during March, the time of Norooz, or the Persian New Year. I love Norooz, as it marks the first day of spring and of new beginnings. I am able to come together with my community and celebrate and have fun! :)
